For some reason irrational things like racism still exists and is closer to home than many people want to admit. It's not a thing that just happens in 'those countries'. Such a hatred is irrational. Maybe you hate someone for slashing your tires, for stealing things from your yard, for yelling profanities at you. But hating someone for being born a certain race is just downright stupid. Yet many people are quick to group a whole race together for crimes committed by a few. As ridiculous as it is, it still happens today. One thing that's popular now is hating on the white male middle class. Racist, sexist, and hating on a social status. Why? Is it because they're rich? Then why not hate on the upper class? 1% of the population control 99% of the wealth. But it's not wealth. If it was it would be the upper class that was hated. And I get that lots of men are idiots, but why hate white men in particular? Sorry, white MIDDLE CLASS men. That hatred is illogical too. It's not even being white that's considered evil. So why is such a thing actually trendy and cool to hate? Or is it because people hate the white male middle class because they were found to be racist, sexist, and hating on social classes? Guess what? If you're guilty of thinking that way, that just makes you a hypocrite, lumping people into a negative stereotype.
Irrational hate. It still exists. Be wise to it.
